With Advent well underway and the Christmas season soon upon us, I thought I'd better share about this book before Advent is over! "Unwrapping the Names of Jesus" by Asheritah Ciuciu is a lovely companion to have during this season of waiting. It is a short book with easy readings for each day of Advent, though don't let that fool you. The content is amazing and you will learn a lot as you go through this little gem of a book. I think it's the perfect devotional for this time of year, whether you do it alone or as a family. It's great to pick up and go through at the end of the day. There will be much to ponder on and many beautiful thoughts to fill your days.
As someone who firmly believes in a liturgical practice of faith, Advent is no new thing for me. Though, I do enjoy coming across new resources to enjoy during this season of the Church's year. It is a great way to lead into Christmas and Epiphany, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to add a bit more beauty to their Advent practices and traditions.
