First of all, the cover of this book cheers me which feels like a sweet compliment to the subject matter. This book was a breathe of fresh air, giving space to address the deep grief that can be true in so many areas of life; job, relationships, home, etc. This book felt like permission to grieve while showing how necessary it is to name and address the hard things in our lives. I loved the practical ways the author addressed moving forward in each area, without making it too formulaic. This book is a practical book, but also a book that makes grief feel less lonely, pointing the reader towards Jesus and community. A for me.
